Oh clap, clap, your hands and sing out with glee!
Christmas is coming and merry are we.
Now over the snow comes old St. Nick
He comes with his donkey, quick, quick, quick.
We'll put out our shoes and when we're asleep
Into our house St. Nicholas will creep.
He'll fill our shoes with presents and then
St. Nicholas and his donkey will scamper off again.
So clap, clap your hands and sing out with glee!

St. Nicholas visited our school today at nap time! He filled our boots with adorable winter finger puppets and a candy cane and brought a Christmas song book for our classroom to use. What fun it was to wake up to a big snow fall and a surprise by the fireplace!
We also had a fun time cooking today! After Ryan led group time and group craft (making a large snowman) the children came upstairs and made a loaf of bread. After the bread was ready to rise we started washing, chopping and peeling our vegetables for vegetable soup. It was so fun to have each child add their own ingredients. It tasted wonderful too! Thanks for participating everybody!
