This morning we started our day with outdoor play. We've had great weather this December and who knows how long it's going to last! We want to enjoy it as much as we can!
When we came in we had some free play time and then group time.
Today Tanmay and Quinn got to choose a book from underneath the Christmas tree and unwrap it for our story time. They both choose small books- "Santa's Christmas Surprise" and "Christmas Wishes". We read them and talked about the days of the week and the months of the year. We guessed which day of the month it was today and checked out our holiday garland to see what prize was inside the 2nd day of December. Today it was some red and green candy! Many of our friends already have their Christmas tree's up so we decided to make as many ornaments as we could to hang on our tree's at home. Today we made glittery pine cone ornaments. They turned our beautiful!
This afternoon we are going to start working on making our own "Winter Holiday Books".

Our lunch was mixed veggies, organic mac and cheese, banana and milk.
