The 3 year old class had their first dance/tumbling class today! It sounds like everything went well and they enjoyed their teacher and activities. They came back to school around lunch time and showed us some of their new moves. It was very cute! They are excited to go back next week. The kindergartners were back to school this week after their spring break week last week and we have a couple of friends gone on vacation this week, and one preschool friend is having surgery today! It's a common procedure, but we're thinking about him and hoping he feels better very soon! Our 4 year old class was very small! We only had 3 friends here this morning. The whole morning they worked on making large murals together with lots and lots of paint- it was great fun!

We've decided to cancel "Soup Monday's" for the summer, as nobody really feels like making/eating soup when it's warm out. You are welcome to bring vegetables or any other food from home to share with our class anytime- we love it when friends bring in food to share. It's expensive and time consuming to plan/make meals for so many kids so a loaf of bread or box of crackers is a super appreciated gift! Thank you to all of the families that have been bringing us veggies and snacks these past few months- we love them! This week we will begin baking for our fundraiser bake sales, and weather permitting will be holding lemonade/bake sales on Friday's (unless we have other plans- we'll see what we feel like doing!). Feel free to bring anything in you'd like to donate to the bake sale as well, lemonade packets, cups, extra Easter candy you want to get rid of? We'll sell it at our lemonade stand!

I only have one 4 year old and a 6 year old that is interested in taking spring/summer extra classes away from school. If you are interested let me know and we can sign the kids up together. Most classes are enrolling now so let me know ASAP. These are parent paid for classes that happen during the day, usually once each week for a month or so, but sometimes everyday for one or two weeks (such as gymnastics or art camp). We will provide transportation to and from classes as long as parents provide the child's safety carseat. I know there are Tennis lessons in the summer at Kutzky park for 4+ year olds, soccer, gymnastics, dance, art, language, science etc. Lots of opportunities if you are interested!

Preschool will be closed April 29 and 30. Ryan and I are attending the Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit VI and are so excited!!
