"Earth, so big, and me, so small -Oh, what good can I do?"

Funny you should ask, my child.

The world's been waiting for you!

One Child, One Planet: Inspiration for the Young Conservationist

by Bridget McGovern Llewellyn

Happy Earth Day! This week we have been learning about Earth, and all of her many gifts she gives us every single day! We also learned some ways to keep the Earth healthy by not wasting resources. Many of the children were really familiar with reduce, reuse and recycle- great job parents! Milan is our Jr. Forester and has told us all about tree's and that we need tree's to make the air clean so that we can breathe. Josie and Kennedy knew all about turning the water off, especially when we aren't using it, and taking quick showers to save water.
We even talked about using reusable bags, and trying to recycle rather than throwing everything in the garbage. We don't want our earth to get sick, so we all have to do our part to keep her clean and healthy!
This video is very sweet, helps us remember to appreciate gifts we've been given in life- large and small.
