Group Time In The Garden

We read our bird book and shared our homework "baby chic" art activities. To be dismissed at group time lately we've been saying "goodnight birdie" or "go play birdie" and the children flap their little wings all the way to their destination. They LOVE it!
Have your children told you that our garden is growing like crazy!? Every single day we take note of the changes we see happening before our very eyes. The children are amazed to see the plants that they planted last year coming back up through the soil. It's so funny to think that when Tanmay was 3 years old we started this garden together and now he's 6!
Everyday a different friend waters all of the plants with our little watering can and another friend has the job of filling up the hanging bird bath. Together we check the squirrel feeder to see how many peanuts have been eaten and watch our tree's carefully for buds, nests and birds. Springtime is so exciting, new experiences everyday!
