Today we did a special rainy day art project! The children filled their paper up with washable marker colors and then ran outside and stood in the rain for a minute. When they looked at their paper again little drops could be seen where every raindrop hit.
After our morning outdoor play time we came inside and danced quite a bit and then watched a Clifford movie as we warmed up and dried out!
Ryan and I are working on cleaning out closets and the storage room and changing our classroom a little bit. We're hoping to order a new classroom work table- we're VERY over due with this! We've never been able to all sit and do a project, bake, eat a snack, or anything all together, so a new table will be wonderful. We are also hoping to add in some really awesome surprise classroom centers for this spring/summer curriculum. The children have been asking often when we can go to the stream to catch crayfish again! We're all looking forward to warmer weather activities and sunshine!
