Today our class made foil beef stew!

It's very easy to make, and tastes delicious and doesn't create any dishes to wash!
The children had so much fun washing and chopping the vegetables together.

Zara and Quinn couldn't believe that there were purple potato's!
After lunch we read the story "A to Z Alphabet Salad" and talked about the many fruits and vegetables in the book. Some of the fruits and vegetables I had never seen myself!
At the end of the book there is a little food pyramid so we had a little group discussion about the different sections in the pyramid and the amounts of each food group children should eat each day.
