Milan brought the bird house that he made here a couple of years ago to show us that a bird had made a sweet little home there! This nest is different than the others we have found, those are mostly made with dried grass, mud and fuzz, but this one is mostly made of sticks.

We went on a nature walk today and found lots of treasures! We sometimes bring treasures home and sometimes leave them where we found them, but today we brought them home. The seasons are already starting to change a little bit and we're finding many colored fallen leaves on our walks these days!

We also found a pair of cicada wings!

We took a trip to the toy zone for story time with Ms. Kristin. We hadn't seen Ms. Kristin in a long time so it was nice to go and sing, dance and listen to stories with her. She read a really neat new book called "Ribbit: Flip and See who I can be" I've never seen it before and it was very cute.

We had an extra small class today so we wanted to do something special. With the clouds looking a little dark and the hot weather we've been having lately we didn't want to get too far from home but wanted to do something fun! We decided to take the children to lunch at Friday's. It was a great surprise treat and the children were very well behaved! We're so proud of them!

Our new friend Franziska had her first full day here today, she did well!
