Today we made and played with play dough for our morning group activity. The children practiced cutting the play dough with butter knives and made all sorts of delicious treats with it!
We had some free play on our playground and then came inside and played with our new classroom logs. The children worked together to make a huge castle using the tree blocks, fairies,
and gnomes. They were so proud of their work!
After our play time we came together for story time before nap. Today we read the book "Under The Ground" a scholastic first discovery book. It's so neat! It shows the underground tunnels of creatures in different habitats.
We sang our good night song and said our good night poem and hurried to our sleeping mats for a quiet rest. In the afternoon we plan on letting our new monarch go, and painting some rocks.

Lunch was Annie's mac and cheese, carrot sticks, goldfish crackers, banana and milk.
