This morning was a magical snow day! The children enjoyed playing in the backyard with the snow falling on their heads and covering everything around them. Everything is more fun when there is some new snow around!
When everyone came in we had some yummy friendship vegetable soup, hash browns and apple slices with milk. Almost everyone remembered to bring a vegetable today and we didn't have any repeats, so it was a very delicious and flavorful soup. The children love sharing what they've brought after we sing our blessing.
In the afternoon we plan on playing outside a little more and enjoying some hot apple cider and home made bread brought by Isaiah. We love snowy Monday's!


Here is the best apple cider recipe ever made!
It makes A LOT so if you only want a little cut it in 1/2 or even less than that.
8 cups of apple cider
4 cups of cranberry juice
4 cups of orange juice
1/4 cup of sugar
cinnamon cloves

It's so delicious on a cold and snowy day and it makes your home smell wonderful too!
