Today we read the book "The After Christmas Tree" again. This morning we worked on stringing cheerios to put on our tree for the birds. Tomorrow we will continue working and collecting items for our tree and as soon as it gets a little bit warmer outside we will decorate our tree with all of the yummy bird treats we've been making.
For lunch we had grilled cheese sandwiches, green beans, pear and milk. After lunch we had our music class and learned the signs for family, mom, dad, sister and brother. We danced, jumped and shook out our sillies today during music time and got quite a work out!
After music class we made little Christmas trees out of pine cones and colorful beads and we had some silent reading time to look at books. After everyone was finished with their projects we sang our story time song, read our book, said our good night poem and went to sleep.
We plan on having crackers and juice for snack and then working on our cheerio strings and some math sorting and sequencing until it's time to go home for the evening.
