We had a quiet morning today. We started with free play time-Anna worked on a 100 piece jigsaw puzzle, Kane and Tanmay worked on large floor puzzles, and the others played with the kitchen toys and blocks. Then came up stairs for a popcorn, pizza and movie party. We watched most of the movie "Snow Dogs" it was a good winter movie, the children thought it was pretty funny.
We enjoyed Spanish class and learned the word for "heart" and practiced our alphabet, numbers, colors and some special hello and good-bye songs.
After lunch we got out our nap mats and blankets and sang our story time song. Ryan read the nap time story and then we said our nap time poem and got snuggled under our blankets for a quiet rest. This afternoon we plan on playing outside and doing some classroom cleanup! The children love to wash windows, mop floors, run the washing machine, and dust.
Our lunch was pepperoni pizza, corn, banana and milk and our snack today was toast with butter and water.
