Yay for a beautiful day!
Today we watched some of our favorite movie the letter factory and did some rug time with puzzles and letters. We had free play and then it was time for Spanish class! During Spanish class we learned the words for square and heart, hands, feet, and head. We practiced singing the alphabet, counting, "heads shoulders knees and toes" and "If your happy and you know it" in Spanish.
Our lunch was macaroni and cheese, blueberries, peas bread with butter and milk.
After lunch we got on our boots and jackets and headed out for a nice long walk. We loved seeing the "river" of water running down the street from the melting snow and ice and hearing the birds sing in the trees. The children were actually surprised to see the grass at St. Mary's, although it isn't green yet it is beginning to look like the start of spring!
On our walk we stopped at caribou coffee for a hot cocoa treat before heading back to school again.
We hope to go to Folwell playground to play after our rest.
