Here is another fun weekend family fieldtrip opportunity-
the Flint Hill's International Children's Festival is presenting a children's play-
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
and other Eric Carle Favorites
Follow the amazing and brave journeys of three Eric Carles most beloved stories retold on stage by Nova Scotia's Mermaid Theatre. Watch The Very Hungry Caterpillar's Journey to become a beautiful butterfly; the Little Clouds transformation into an airplane, a sheep, and more; and the mixed-up Chameleon becoming a little bit of every animal it sees at the zoo! Stories come alive using larger-than-life puppets, an array of bright colors, and a magical glow from black lights.
Sunday May 31 2:30pm and 4:30pm
Tickets are $5.00

for more information about the festival itself
The children love Eric Carle books and have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly so it would be really fun to watch the whole story unfold on stage!
