We had a great morning today. We decided to take a trip to the Toy Zone to see Mr. Peter. We hadn't seen him for many months since we don't make it to the Toy Zone in the winter time. We wore our special new field trip outfits and LOVED matching our friends! When story time with Mr. Peter was finished he gave each of us a balloon and we walked to our street and then we ran ran ran all the way back to school.
We had some free art on the playground using crayons, colored pencils, and dot paints on the table and free play time as we waited for music class!
When Ms. Carol arrived we started our music class outside but it started to sprinkle so we packed up and ran into school and finished music class in our playroom. We usually don't mind the rain but Ms. Carol didn't want the instruments to get wet.
Our lunch menu was sloppy joe's with Mexican corn and cherry tomato's, cottage cheese and milk.
The children look forward to jumping in puddles and searching for worms when they wake up- we love a wet and rainy spring day...the wetter the better!
