Yesterday we had an awesome trip to Rochesterfest! We started out with watching an Elvis concert. The children had no idea who this strange Elvis guy was, and weren't familiar with his music but they enjoyed watching his funny dance moves and listening to his music. When it was time to move on and find some other entertainment Jayme said "I like him, he's so handsome!" We told her that a lot of ladies feel that way about Elvis.
We played at the peace garden fountain to cool off a little bit and then went to the swing dance music concert. The children danced and clapped along to the music. When the music concert was finished we found a cool place in the grass to eat snowcones before taking the long walk back to school.
It was a great day!
