This morning we took a trip to the Peace Garden to look for different kinds of bugs or anything else cool we could find! The garden will soon be changing for fall so we wanted to capture the way it looked in the summertime! We found a birdsnest hidden in the vines on the statue, we also found a big spider web with the spider resting peacefully in it's home. We found some slugs, and some water insects, and of course some beautiful flowers too.
Kennedy brought some great insect books to share with her friends today and Anna brought a monarch butterfly egg on a leaf to show everybody too! We all enjoyed checking out the books and the monarch egg. Thanks for sharing girls!
