We had a nice morning today with a start in the backyard playing with yard tools, and various other outdoor activities. We then took a nature hike towards Saint Mary's Park, on the way we checked out a Mushroom that Kroix noticed earlier in the morning. This mushroom is truly amazing, and holds a resemblance much more closely related to a dinosaur egg then any mushroom I have ever seen before. After playing at the park for a while we walked back, and joined together for our cultural sharing time. We had wonderful items brought in from Guatemala, and India. There is still time to bring in any items you may have or wish to share from your culture or heritage, we will continue our learning through Thursday.

Our Lunch Menu today was an absolutely delicious lemon chicken with rice meal provided by Jamie and Dru. It was really neat to see their smiling faces as their friends enjoyed the food they had brought. We also had a yummy zucchini bread brought in by Miel and Isaiah. Thanks so much for the wonderful surprise treats, it is greatly appreciated. After everyone is done resting we are looking forward to the corn cake that Jamie and Dru prepared for dessert. Of course I am sure that most of the credit should go to the moms that worked so hard on the great food so a sincere thanks goes to them as well.
