fall wind begins to blow
colored leaves fall fast and slow
twirling whirling all around
until at last they touch the ground
Today was a lazy day. We played and enjoyed music class this morning. We read the book "Squirrels" and looked at real pictures of squirrels and all that they do in all of the different seasons. We learned that squirrels build nests in tree's using leaves, they have baby squirrels that stay in the nest until they grow big enough to leave the nest to gather food on their own. The baby squirrels are so tiny! They don't open their eyes until they are about a month old and they don't have any fur. We practiced saying "Grey Squirrel Grey Squirrel" and sang "Make New Friends" as we walked in a circle. Then it was time for lunch!
Our lunch today was Annie's Organic mac& cheese, corn, pears and milk.
Our nap time story was called "Fall". We are definitely feeling like it's fall these days!
After nap time we plan on making hand/arm prints with paint to use for a project tomorrow- and then we'll spend the rest of the afternoon outside.
