Have a child going to Kindergarten in September of 2010? Join us for Kick Off to Kindergarten!

This year’s Kick Off to Kindergarten Open House is on Thursday, September 24, 2009, from 4-7 PM at Northrop Education Center, 3rd floor. This event welcomes families to Rochester Public Schools and Rochester public kindergarten programs and helps prepare children for school by providing parents with information kindergarten registration, transitioning to kindergarten and kindergarten readiness in a friendly “one stop” format. Each district school with a Kindergarten program and other invited departments and organizations will have a space reserved.

No registration is necessary. This event is for adults but children are welcome to attend with their parents. There will be activities for parents and children to do together. Booths will be open from 4-7 PM. Visitors are welcome to browse. Please allow an average of one hour for your visit.
