We've been busy today! We started the morning with outdoor play. The children have really been enjoying each other outside. They all play together so nicely! They create something new with our logs and branch pieces everyday, it's great to watch!
We took the school kids to school and came back to start our projects!
Today we made a squirrel using coffee grounds, we painted an acorn print using real acorn tops and we practiced transferring acorns again with our little scoop. We also had free playtime in our playroom.
When we were finished with our activities our Spanish teacher Cristina came to teach us lots of Spanish words. For those of you new to our school Cristina is a native Spanish speaker, originally from Mexico. She teaches the children a full curriculum each week including letters, vocab, numbers, color, shapes, songs and culture. Her website is www.learningspanishwithcristina.com. She's a great teacher and we're so happy to have her as part of our weekly lessons!
