Our first two kindergarteners ready to go with their new backpacks.


Wow what a week of transitions! At the beginning of the week two new friends joined us- Ryder (4.5) and Quinn (3). They've both jumped right in happily and have had a great time so far. I know they'll both be perfect additions to our classroom.
Jayme started first grade on Tuesday! She's already quite the pro, and runs to her classmates to get in her morning line without hardly even saying goodbye to us.
Today was another big milestone! Kane and Tanmay started kindergarten! They were all smiles and ready to start their day with their new kindergarten teacher and friends. I think they'll have a great day!
Meanwhile our house is really quiet with just the preschoolers around! We have a visitor Hayden (3) today and Josie (5) has returned to Minnesota to live with her mom full-time which means she'll be attending elementary school with the other school age students too. We are so happy that she'll be around this school year, she's such a lovely little girl. As she told Ryder and Quinn yesterday "This school is really a great one!".

We'll be starting a new weekly rhythm and a slightly different daily rhythm now that the school year has started so I'll be changing the blog a little bit and letting you all know our schedule soon! (opening and closing hours will be the same..just our activity times will be different)

The backpack is nearly as big as the girl herself! So cute!!!
