Today was all about the letter P.
We read the book "Patty's Pumpkin Patch" and discussed the life cycle of a pumpkin as we played our pumpkin sequence game. We put on our thinking caps and tried to list all of the words we could think of that started with the letter P.
We made the "puh puh puh" sound as we talked about all of the different words we found.
We have been enjoying our fall themed books and are still reading many Halloween, apple, pumpkin and leaf books everyday.

The whole month of November we will be learning about "Feeling Thankful". After our mealtime blessing each child will go around the table and name one thing they are thankful for that day. We did this last year and it's so much fun to hear what the children are thankful for! We will also be learning about "night time animals" this November, especially Owls. If you have books, music, etc. that have to do with Giving Thanks, or Night Time Animals feel free to bring them to share with our class!
