We've had a really nice quiet morning today! Some of our friends are out with family, a few are at school for the morning, and a few are out sick. That left us with 3 boys and Elia! Elia was so happy to be with the big boys, she loves getting some special attention from her big "brothers".
We had some free play, some free art, a free choice show (Max and Ruby) and music class with Carol!
Today during music class the children took a musical fall ride through the countryside! They began by singing "Hello it's music time" and then got out the egg shakers and shook them to "riding in my car" while making the sounds for the horn, engine, and wipers.
Then we reviewed the words and motions for the finger play "5 little leaves".
Next we got out our colorful scarves and danced to "Everybody dance around". We ended our day with a little bit of instrument time, during which we got our tool cards to help us fix the little red wagon and complete the song "Bumping up and down in my little red wagon".

Today we plan on getting some cleaning done, we need some helpers to wash the windows and floors! :)

For lunch we're having hot dogs with bun, corn, banana or apple, and milk.
