Our 3 year old class has signed up for a Dance/Tumbling combination class this spring as their community education class at Northrup. We are so excited! This is a parent paid for class- obviously we can not pay for each child to attend community ed classes- but we can transport to and from the class and ensure your child is in class with their good preschool friends- that alone sometimes makes a world of difference in the eyes of a preschooler! Everything is more fun with friends! The parent viewing day is May 10th at 10:30-11:00am. If you are interested in coming to see your child do their thing in dance/tumbling class we'd love to have you join us! We did this class a couple of years ago and it is right up there with one of my favorite preschool memories- preschool dance classes are just about the cutest thing you've ever seen!

If the 4/5 year old or school age class is interested in doing a separate community education class, or a special trip somewhere in town throw out some idea's and we'll talk about it. I'm not all that familiar with 4-5 year old activities around town since I don't have a 4 or 5 year old. I'll bet there are some great activities though! I know that the Quarry Hill summer camp activities are full for this age group, and the Jet's Gymnastics camps are expensive but available (and sound like tons of fun!). Send me other idea's if you are interested and we can get another class going this spring or early summer.

If anyone knows they aren't interested in paying for an extra class that's no problem! 1/2 of us will be gone to a class while the other 1/2 is here at school so there are always other options for your child whether they are in an extra class or not.
