Today our old friend Shivani came to visit us. She attended First Discoveries for 3 years, so it was great to have her back and talk about all of the fun adventures she remembered from her time here- she definitely remembered the adventures we had at the "princess castle" and around the neighborhood. It felt good to have her back "home". :)
We put on our king and princess clothing and walked to the princess castle for a tea party and painting project early this morning. It was so much fun! The "princess castle" has so many places for games, imagination, exploration, and tons and tons of fun. After everybody had some healthy food for lunch (hummus and sprout wraps, berries, peas) and then we had a pot full of dirt, worms and flowers for a snack!
Now the little ones are taking the nap, the big ones are resting and finishing up some homework and Ryan is preparing the water slide for an afternoon of water play! Yay for warm and sunny weather!
